I'd like to get all of the 1966 Golden Record reprint editions. I had a couple and sold them last year and now I want them all at once! Besides that, yeah I'd like to attend Baltimore Comic Con and the Big Apple Con (but understand and support why I wasn't able to this year) and basically build up my lower-level Silver Age and a lot of Bronze Age stuff. Personally, I'd like to get the majority of everything put out in 1986-1987 for purely sentimental reasons. But the Golden Record reprints are my primary goal and I'm going to start, one by one, in January.

Would love to vend  and shop at any Western Canada comicon in 2021. Province is currently on 'voluntary' lockdown. This means if u live in the suburbs, u can shop, work and dine in your own city. Stay out of the downtown core unless u live, work, have Dr. appointment in that specific city. Think all movie theaters and church gatherings disallowed until Jan. 8, 2021 provincial health authority review. Casinos, hotels, and most buffet restaurants closed for 8 months already due to Covid fear.

These goals are great, thank you for sharing.

For me, I have seven books left in my SA Marvel key collection, so my goal is to find at least three of them in 2021 (many are less expensive keys, such as MSH 12 and TOS 57). 

On the Bronze Age Marvel original art front, I'd love to find a Perez FF or Avengers page to buy.

I did sell more stuff. 

Bathroom was completed at the end of June thanks to the pandemic and it wound up costing me a LOT more due to a lack of finding someone willing to undertake the project.  Came out nice through... 

I did NOT get a Superman 14 but I added a number of GA Timely and DCs to my collection. 

However, while I did NOT do another room renovation, Today, I signed the contract for all of the old layers of roof to be ripped off the house and for a new roof to be put up.  I did not realize how expensive that is. First time I need to actually replace the entire roof. 

 

So what do I want for 2021?

Sell more stuff. 

I think the Superman 14 is passing me by especially as I put more money into the house. 

I would like:

  • Human Torch 9, 23
  • Captain America 48
  • Superman 24 (Since 14 is at a point that is more than I want to spend right now)
  • Other DC or Timely War covers
  • Maybe a 1st Deadpool... I've never owned a copy. 
  • Page of Strange Adventures Sci Fi Art
  • There is a particular cover out there I had my eye on... but... roof... 
  • Mego Spider-man... never owned one. 
  • Upgrade an ASM issue in my slabbed AF15-100 run.

 My 2021 goal is to reduce the # of goals I have lol. 

I've spent years working on what I call my marvel 5x5. The first 5 issues of my 5 favorite marvel titles. I got most of the big ones out of the way and would love to finish it in 21 or 22. 

I'm also working on a high grade bronze HOS run. No real starting or end point, I'm just a big fan of those covers. 

I was working on all the LB Cole Blue Bolt's, but that's slowed (pricey business) and I've got a nice collection of GA WWII I'd like to add to.
