So is the Ron Marz Jango Fett one-shot really his first appearance? I see CGC has its release date as 1/2002, beating Attack of the Clones #1 by 3 months, but that's all the evidence I can find.

Color me shocked and quoted. Found a comicchron source for the one-shot dating it to November 2001:

And Wookiepedia has the one-shot coming out on March 13, 2002 (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Jango_Fett) vs. April 24, 2002 for Attack of the Clones #1 (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Episode_II_—_Attack_of_the_Clones_1).

I'm kicking myself for not picking up these one-shots now. I feel like I've seen them everywhere and then can't find them.

The inside publication date is Jan, 2002.

Full text story with the jedi appearing. The first text story in print from what I can tell.

There is on eBay listing with some pictures of the inside pages which are just preview pages from #1 most likely as they are not colored. Not an original story.

Yes this is an exclusive story to the magazineStarlight: Part One - Go Together a prequel to the upcoming novel. Written by Charles Soule.

Issue 201 also has an original High Republic story, this one by Cavan Scott

Thanks, that is indeed an exclusive prequel to his novel, not comic book. I believe the first few chapters were released over a month ago online for free.

Star wars #10 1999 first appearance of A'Sharad Hett aka Darth Krayt, is hitting new highs. Also #7 from the same series *Outlander* features the first Aurra Sing and is performing better as well.  I have been watching these two as they were severely undervalued. Especially in today's crazy star wars market, these were overdue for a correction.
