We know at least the first half of 2021 will be in the dumper. Anyone expecting rapid improvement just because the year is different will be disappointed. If 2020 was a giant sewage explosion 2021 is gonna catch the stench of a thousand stink bombs.

I cut this Mutts cartoon out of the paper on 1/2/20 and pinned it up with some optimism.  It only took 4 months to rip it off the wall and tear it up...

I count myself so darn fortunate. Never lost my job ... never got sick ... no loved one got sick.  I can't imagine the hardships that multitudes of people are going thru. I'm so glad there's light at the end of the tunnel. I'm fairly certain that there will be permanent changes to the way we live our lives ... positive changes.
