Most comic historians agree that Jack Kirby was the greatest comic book artist of all time and volumes have been written about his work and it’s importance to culture. Here ,for your library, are a few of the best books written on his work and his life .All books are used.Offered are:

“Jack Kirby”The Comics Journal Library (SC, 12” x 12” ,Fine +) compiles various artwork,WW 2 sketches,color gallery and essays including some of the first inklings that all was not well in Marvel Land . These essays, when published ,would become part of comic history.
 
“The Art of Jack Kirby” (SC 9.5 “x 13.5” Good) One of the first volumes produced on Kirby and still one of the best . Features lots of color plates and a check list and time table of his work
 
The Jack Kirby Treasury Vol.2 (SC,8 “ x 10.5, Good ) The earlier works of Kirby are examined ,including his world with Joe Simon and the ground breaking “Challengers of the Unknown”
 
“Hand of Fire “ by Charles Hatfield (SC ,6”x 9”, Fine +) This book contains (IMO) the most intelligent look at Kirby’s artwork over the years ever offered. The author thoroughly explores the meaning of some his later epics including “The Eternals” saga.
