UPS Worldwide Economy to Canada? 1 1

Hi folks, with so many USPS delays lately I'm wondering about switching to UPS to get a few packages to Canada.

Curious about this UPS Worldwide Economy DDU service. It says 5-12 days to Canada, and a 1 lb package would be about $20 which seems like a good deal. Has anyone used this before? Any feedback appreciated.

As a receiver of packages from the US, my experience has been mixed.  It's been a while, but I found the import surcharge to be a pricey turnoff.

Fed-Ex is by far the best and most expensive.

UPS enjoys sending you a $50 brokerage invoice a month after your package gets there.  It's not fun.

Unless something has changed in recent years, I would not use UPS under any circumstances to ship to Canada. We stopped using them at my job more than a decade ago due to the ridiculous brokerage fees that no other courier charges.
