Look at this pristine 9.4 advertised!

I know sellers tend to round up on grades but CMON MAN.

Or maybe I can sell this guy some of my 5.0s as 9.4's? Lmao

Misgrading by this much should almost be a crime. I feel sorry for some new collector who buys it.

Anyone seen worse? Any 3/4.0s presented as 9s?

It’s a beaut.

So minty fresh.

The cover gloss is incredible.

Straight off a 70s newsstand.

Takes me back.

There is also the possibility that, like Mile High, the seller is using a stock image of the book and has forgotten to change it to show the actual 9.4 copy, which might look fantastic and satisfy even the most obsessive-compulsive amongst us.

The Cat?!  You've got to be kitten!  Looks more like a fur ball!

Yup.

That had occurred to me, but showing a gif of a cat actually coughing one up seemed a bit unnecessary to me, natural though it may be.

Not so much well-loved as well-mauled.

It's annoying isn't it, when you see sellers trying to pass 8.5's off as NM 9_9

Yup. Whenever there’s disagreement there’s also the chance of the authority figure card being played; ‘your grading clearly far exceeds that of Overstreet’.

It does look like a fudged grade.

the seller should have put that Cat #1 comic next to a mint plant and then it wouldn't be false advertising (like the example below) lol

Maybe that's mint juice on the back cover!
