Declared value submission

Hey guys,

How do you value your comics when preparing your submission?

I mean, do we need to put its value as “raw” or do we need to estimate the value it will get once graded ?

I find it difficult to determine as the value of some comics can be so different between one grade to another...

Also, the value of a comic can be so different between raw to graded..

I just bought a comic for 50$, which as a potential for a 9.8. If it gets a 9.8, it will be worth around $260. Thus, which amount should I declared in my submission ?

Thanks for your help !

You should value your book as if it's going to be destroyed by your mail carrier. How much would you be happy receiving for your comic in an insurance settlement?

As much as possible 😄

So, assuming what you are saying, I should declared the value of a graded comic rather a raw one.
