Side note... the guy sent a photocopy of his official government picture ID front and center on the parcel and numbers.   Ehhh... that's going in the shredder.

Yeah, I've seen that from European sellers.  It's part of their export requirements, especially for art.  To make sure no one exports any renaissance paintings or other national treasures!
