The world hasn't been fun this past year so I find it helpful to bring together positive stories. Things that happened in a sale or a convention that made you further appreciate the collecting community.

I was frantically trying to get to a few events at the 2019 Canada Fan Expo. As I always do I spent some time speaking with Dan Parent who may be the nicest and hardest working artist I have spoken with. While rummaging through my stuff trying to find a blank I inadvertently dropped my VIP badge.He not only noticed I dropped the badge but made the effort to walk around the show and find me to return it. Secondary props need to go to Fernando Ruiz who watched the booth while he went to look for me. A little thing but something I will remember. I will make sure to purchase something from Dan's booth whenever he is at a show I attend.

Judy, me, and my Super-Friend Lewis went to Baltimore in 2011 to get Stan sigs and do a BIG Convention. No one told Judy that the ID bracelet was to get in and out and also for the next day, so she ripped hers off and into the trash it went. We didn't realize what had happened until we were at Dale's booth. He overheard us flipping out and offered Judy an extra dealer's badge that he had. At that point, I had only met Dale once , years before. Spare Dealer's passes were fetching $ 75 at the time, he gave it to us for free. I'll always remember him for that. Saved the day. 

My friend Gene, who did 45 shows per year before Pandemic times, used to be just another dealer at a show before we ended up as friends. He had a stack of radically high grade Weird War Tales and I was broke. He saw I liked them a lot and told me to take them and pay the next time he came through ... which was several months. We became very good friends and he sometimes drives his whole show inventory to town just for me to go through. Italian food afterwards of course. GOD BLESS....

A nice gesture once when I met Robert Kirkman at a convention.

I looked through a small pile of his Walking Dead Vol 1 trade paperbacks, he asked me to pick out a nice copy, signed it, and gave it to me free of charge.  Great chat with him as well.

Me and my father had discount by Bob layton in comic con montreal, because one of the factor why he came to montreal is because he learned the french langage young and his teacher reprimended him when he asked if french people sweared too.so we learned bob layton to swear in the good Québec way,and he tryed it swearing out loud and people turning around woundering if they were being insulted!then he smiled and said hey it works!!!we had discount on sketch and original art because of it.ill remember that day when me and my father swored like never before,he couldnt be prouder of me then that day good times!!

Fully articalate ,speaks too,likes to be displayed in toy boxe.my parrot is the guadian of my collection ,if somoene touches a collectible in my home he will feel the wrath of my parrot kiwi the terrible lol,but im serious he undrstand what a collectible is,once on my shoulder while reading a comics i cough and he fell on my comic book,instantly jumping in the air to the floor and fleeing while wimpering because he taught he damage the book!!he really is the guardian of my collection
