The cover is beautiful! I hope you are getting that pressed! Easy 8...

Yea I'm bringing it to Josh Avery who lives a couple towns over from me. Having him assess and do the pressing needs and facilitate the cgc order.

I looked at some on ebay afterwards and see some 7 and 8-ish covers that overall don't look as sharp. I'd love to see an 8.5 after a successful press but that may be pushing it. Congrats and keep us posted please!

First off, thats a beautiful book.

Make sure you check for color touch.

FF52 is the world champion of CT.

Tear on the top is -1.0 to -1.5

Minor edges all around -0.5 to -1.0

I see 2-3 spine tics -0.5

Should be solid 7.5

You got a chance at 8.0

If your grader is having a bad day 7.0

May the CGC gods be with you.:headbang:

Thanks for the insightful response. Checked for color touch when I bought it and inside cover revealed nothing also. This comics brother FF 53 also came with this one and it is in equaly nice condition except it's got a lot of chipping or something along the top edge. These came from an old guy in my town who's not a collector but said he had had them for a long time probably from someone in his family and probably original owner. :)
