Nice. Do you have any of the MM's with the rare stamp/logo? I can't tell in the photo.

Those were done on the later 2016 set as a buy back/ throw back to the 1992 set. The set I show above is the original 1992. I had the MM sets from 1992-1998, but have since pared down those and only have original 1992. Wish I had kept the 1996 set. Still when the prices hit over a grand , I sold it . ( now the complete master set is 4-5K..)

I have the 91s and 92s as well. Missed out on the 96 cards. I have so many containers of Marvel/Comic cards that I can't imagine diving into those for grading - though I'm sure it would be worth it at some point!

I completely understand.  I still have several of my Marvel cards, but will be selling a LOT of those while these prices are going crazy . So I can refocus on my comics. The DC Cards I still plan on keeping for a while at least. Other than my original 1940 Superman Gum Set that I didn't finish,  that I finally sold a few years back. I do still have almost every card set DC ever made in the states( and a TON of international sets) Each of these sets I tried to obtain everything related. Most of them have the base & inserts sets, errors ,  promos (cards/posters/uncut minis/post cards/ads/etc), sell sheets, fact sheets, retailer displays, packs, boxes, cases, some even had binders, and full uncut sheets (both base and inserts) some sets ties together as they were printed at the same time. Here is an example where the Bloodlines set was printed the same time as the Return of Superman Redemption One True Superman card and Milestone. 20201108_204324.thumb.jpg.8fdeea19b10b1d70f7037e2c951c89fc.jpg

In some cases I was able to even track down uncut rolls of the packs.20201028_015516.thumb.jpg.16af59ee6b14e68379ed17f8d902ad10.jpg20201028_015448.thumb.jpg.1a8ce0e866ee7cf9653d9cd3ca9427c7.jpg

Lol.  Did you @onlyweaknesskryptonitewrite this? You have a great set there in those and have me looking to put one together maybe.    https://blogintomystery.com/2014/10/18/trading-card-set-of-the-week-kingdom-come-xtra-1996-skybox/

That is a good read. No I didn't write it, but do own the set. I originally cracked cases to find tons of autograph cards and had up to about 35( still these were a mix of numbers and some Ross, some Waid),  but was starting to lose interest as I had amassed a lot of bulk ( and spent a lot of money) . I started building sets to sell off a lot of the excess. Through the years I networked with several other card collectors to find some of the uncut sheets, promos, and retailer sell sheets that some of my master sets lacked. Some of these other collectors have stayed in touch and when they go to sell I usually get a crack at making an offer or they will tell me what venues they have listed with so I at least have a fair shot at bidding. That was how I finally acquired this set.

Thank you for sharing this story as I had not seen it and would assume that the original writer of that was who originally assembled this set.

Thank you to him for not only putting all these together, but eventually selling. It helped me Finish a Set I had only dreamed and chased.  :cloud9:

With my original undertaking of chasing these cards and the fact I did it when the cards were released and I still could not put together a complete set. I could only imagine the monumental task today or assembling a set now. The boxes have been going for $100+- and I can definitely say it takes quite a few to even get the congratulations cards ( unless you are ridiculously lucky) even then to actually get numbers matching :whatthe: I have seen and sold single congratulations cards anywhere from about $50 up to $200 depending on # and Character.

If the TAT for cards would decline I would and will be sending this set off for grading as this set truly deserves to be preserved and presented.  My main deliberation is weather to send them to PSA or BGS, since CGC doesn't grade these and even if they did with these being tall and having autographs, it would probably be a LONG time before they ever get around to adding these cards to their list of accepted cards.

Thank you again for sharing that blog. It was a good read. (thumbsu

Now a couple more group shots. Also in the shot are my two Brandon Routh Autograph Cards( only 4 graded through BGS and only 2on PSA)20210214_125848.thumb.jpg.3b296146b6a1703b08ca93fe45a3a166.jpg20210214_125911.thumb.jpg.e3e71d93d495f8bc0140d93eebad05f8.jpg20210214_125942.thumb.jpg.c39ab0f3e3c687fb0201aabdb4535adb.jpg
