Oh Man, all of your Firesides are so nice. Actually saw a couple that I've never seen before that I'm going to need to be on the watch for. Thanks for sharing, I loved looking through that impressive collection!

Bought these Hard Covers here on the boards back in the day.

Those hardcovers!! I haven't run across too many FS hardcovers. That Mighty Marvel Team-Up Thrillers I've never seen before either. That's been added to the list! Thank you for sharing!

Such a cool cover. I might be a lil envious of your signed Hulk FS too. Thank you for sharing!

I'm loving seeing all these Firesides and other good stuff posted so far, today I'm gonna post some of my Batman books.

This first one was given to me by a friend of mine in like 3rd or 4th grade.

Batman: Tales of the Demon: Warner Edition - 1st printing. Collects Batman (1940-2011) #232, 235, 240, 242-244; Detective Comics (1937-2011) #411, 485, 489-490; and DC Special Series (1977-1981) #15.

This next one I wouldn't consider older, but I think it belongs on this list. I found this copy at a swapmeet not too long ago for $5, right before it exploded in value.

Batman: Ego, 1st Printing Prestige Format, 2000

This is one of the books that i saw on the shelf when it came out and went home and figured out how to make enough money to buy it. Mowed quite a few lawns for this one.

Batman: The Long Halloween 1st Printing, Hardcover. 1998. Collects Batman: The Long Halloween 1-12

This is another that's not really that old, but I grew up on Kelley Jones' Batman and I was a huge fan of his vampire trilogy. This is the only 1st edition of the 3 that I still own. Red Rain and Bloodstorm got lost somewhere over time.

Batman: Crimson Mist, 1st Printing, Hardcover, 1999

That's all I have for Batman that's scanned right now.

Here's another book I had to mow some lawns for. I bought this and then we left for a camping trip for the weekend right after. Most of that trip was spent in the tent reading this over and over.

Venom Returns, 1st Printing, 1993. Collects ASM 330-333, 344-347, and Annual #25.

And last but not least, Carnage. This trade was my first introduction to carnage. I was already a huge Venom fan so when i saw this i was all over it. I couldn't wrap my mind around how they allowed such a violent character into Spider-Man comics (the torn up guy on his shattered desk, shoving that lady into a marble wall, throwing a frickin' baby out a window!) and i ate it up. Is that bad? Lol

Spider-Man: Carnage, 1st Printing, 1993. Collects the introduction (6 pages of story) to Cletus Kasady from Amazing Spider-Man (1963-1998 1st Series) #344-345 and 359-360 and collects Amazing Spider-Man (1963-1998 1st Series) #361-363 (in their entirety).

I also have Spider-man and Hulk in hardback by another publisher, Children’s Press;

Does anyone know if Fantastic Four and/or Captain America exist in hard back? I searched for many years on eBay but eventually gave up actively looking.

I have to use some of my under copies and signed platinum as the others are currently at CGC for grading. 20180402_012923.thumb.jpg.bd7f039f93d6d1934c79c9d7e625a1cf.jpg1088445246_IMG_20190501_2037445912.thumb.jpg.e32ac246a048d8fc495c0c49a668f0d9.jpg20210223_144240.jpg.ba742d353de48affac2e9060a60063a5.jpg

Oh man, that Blind Justice trade is awesome. And it looks like its still sealed? I have a regular edition of the Death of Superman trade that's signed by Jerry Ordway. Those platinums are so cool.

I love this book. I had it in my collection at one point. It was another one of those that got lost over time. Dont know where it ended up.
