Can I submit unwitnessed signatures/sketches by in-house signature guests? 1 1

Hi!

Forgive me if this has been asked... I tried searching but couldn't really find anything, and I'm still pretty new to the boards:

Is it possible to submit already sketched/signed books by a guest that will be attending CGC In-House events? I know that it might be a little extra work, but I'd be willing to pay extra especially for an artist to recognize a sketch they have done for me and sign an affidavit to verify it for a Yellow CGC-Signature series label.

I realize there might be a little more risk of forgery submitting books with just the signatures, but I have to believe that sketches are harder to fake.

Any thoughts?

Unless CGC directly witnessed the signature or sketch there is no path for those signatures or sketches to receive a yellow label even if the artist signed a blood oath attesting to their authenticity.

Damn, even a blood oath ain't enough, huh?

Hehe, that's fair enough. I can understand that they want to keep tight integrity of the Yellow label.
