It's a wrinkle that gets pressed into the paper when the ink is being applied as opposed to a crease caused by the page getting folded.

@Angel of Death A Printer’s crease is an artifact of production and doesn’t affect the grade in most instances.  But when a Printer’s crease results in color loss, as it does in this case, is it treated as a defect?

The color loss along the crease will affect the grade, I think.
