I have swooped up every one of these cards off ebay. This is by no means the complete collection. This is simply day 3 of incoming packages that literally fill my giant mail box..

So to everyone here, enjoy this heads up. All Japanese Ebay sellers of these cards are now raising prices 2-4x on ALL banned cards. Some are pretty much selling direct to me in bulk. Looks like I dried up all the supply

 

You'll likely find some cards popping up at decent prices for now but who knows how long that's gonna be. I swooped up $25 Misty's Tears that grade about 7-8(well everything above CGC 6). Now, that same card is costing about $60-80 on the new market.

Hello Everyone!

 

After opening my old collection box of Pokemon stuff, I got pretty "Re-Hooked" into the collection game again.

Sold all my Silver Liberty coins(all 660 of them), took a small loan from my brother and "re-invested" the money into Pokemon Cards.

 

So far I have bought about(no official tabulation yet) 600 Very Special Pokemon Cards to add to my collection.

They primarily compromise of 4 Cards and believe this is set to be the largest collection of it's kind, if not already.

 

Soon, I will reveal what those 4 cards are.

 

If you wish, you can go ahead and make some guess lists of what you guys think it's gonna be. Stay tuned

Finished unpacking today's stuff and now at:

139 Raws and 7 Graded.

All non-CGC/no sub Graded cards will go for reholding/Grading. I don't care if my PSA will end up with a LOWER CGC score, I'll take that all day long.

164 Raws in, still 7 Graded. Also starting to get some of the few Grimers, Slot, and Coinflip cards coming in. I figured I should at least have some of those cards.

So many packages that the mailman left the whole bin with me lol.

 

----------------------------March 30th Update-----------------

Not many packages today. 12 cards arrived.

245 Raws and 8 Graded now in.

Little bonus, got a set of these for the wife and I. Will need one to go back for sub grading.

Packages sometimes are only 7 like yesterday, sometimes 18 like today.

19 packages today as well wooooooo. Pretty happy with that. In another hour I'll post the update with what came in.

 

And after unpacking here is today's stuff, count is 329 raws and 8 graded. Can't wait to get a bulk order in to make a real jump in the count.

 

As seens to now be tradition, the extras I ordered. Those are Nintedo Mews btw

 

Found someone selling random hollows super cheap so I let my son pick out what he liked from the store. So long as he's been good he can take 1 everyday.

 

-------------------April 4th Update---------------

This is pretty much Sat-Mon. Not as many packages as last Monday but alot of cards came.

We are at 387 raws in. Based on what's been shipped/delivered and not, I'm about half way through. It'll take probably 2 more weeks for the slower packages to trickle in toward the end.

 

And here's what I picked up along the way:

Those are 2 Perfect and 1 Pristine Pikachu.

Another Nintedo Mew, southern island and 2 more Pichu. 

Usually the bonus cards I get are just there for packing but these were legit nice bonus. 

2 of those pikas are 1st editions as well as the 2 blue ones.

I wasn't actually gonna do an update today but I got enough cards in to warrant one. Next may likely be Friday.

And here's the pickup. Man, one of my most valued pickups just shipped this morning and it's a $2,000 order. For now, these will do.

The Misty card was just something sold along one of the Misty's Tears I got so not really a pickup but wtvr.

463 raws in! Almost gonna pass the 500 mark!

I'm still figuring out how I'm gonna showcase these. I'm likely gonna start taking the photography a little more seriously and take some nicer shots.

I wonder just how many I'll end up with lol. Definitely gonna blow away the 500 card estimate I initially had. Maybe even the 600, we shall see!

Sending them in is easy, just slap postage on it. Getting them graded and returned in the current estimated TAT is a whole different story. Expect to wait a few months.

The obvious guess:
Base 1st ed Charizard, shadowless Charizard, unlimited Charizard, and 4th print Charizard.

That would be a hard set to send in for grading, just cause the grading fees would be through the roof.

Something about buying way too much. BTW, the cart limit on Ebay is 145 items for those wondering

I started the campaign Friday of last week. I bought from several hundred different sellers. It's been an absolute chaotic time between Sellers, Ebay, PayPal, 2 Banks, the Wife and Myself. Sorry if I bought from you and forgot. I can only remember the 5 whole sales I'm working directly with right now

Pretty fast in some cases, pretty slow in others. But apparently Japan post office is going to severely increase prices after 4/1. Expect to pay $7 more from what the sellers are telling me.

This is what I'm currently working on as well, another collection I'll reveal another time. 25 cards toploaded, 475 left, 20 toploaders

Are you getting the ebay issue where it wont let you pay no matter what? Paypal... doesnt allow you, just switches it back to a CC on file and wont attempt to go through.... then no matter what credit card you use it won't work? Even will get an error when you try to use the ebay bucks gift money... So annoying, I feel the only thing that works is to give it a break from payments and try again later.

I found through Trial and Error(mostly Error) how annoying this could be. BTW, the average wait time to talk to paypal is 1.5 hours -.-*

I also learned how to talk to ebay customer service in under 2 mins  

Ultimately, if you can get another paypal account up(without doing anything against TOS) that really helps alot.

Also, do NOT try to checkout with more than 1 seller. That almost completely destroyed the Ebay account and it's still giving me issues weeks later. It's got a name called "multi-seller glitch." Granted when I did it there was like 5-10 sellers each time but that seriously messed things up.

Best thing to do is schedule out payments. I ended up having to wait upto 48hrs to pay auctions cause at least those were locked in. The buy now stuff just had to come first. Toward the end of the campaign I started to see a massive increase in my cart losing items from other people noticing what I was doing and buying it up as well.
