Grading 80s 3-D Comics
1 1

Hi all,

I had a question regarding a lot of the 80s comics that were done in 3-D. Many came with those flimsy 3-D glasses attached inside. If those are missing, does CGC treat that as a qualified grade?

I am asking because I have a copy of 3-D Sheena Queen of The Jungle (lovely Dave Stevens cover) and it is a double cover so I am considering getting it graded. However the 3-D glasses are not inside. Not sure I want the qualified grade if that ends up being the case....

Any info is much appreciated!

Most 80’s comics had mass produced glasses that came with the book and not attached with the book. Sheena had non attached glasses so they wouldn’t need to go into CGC with the book to be graded. Ones with attached glasses usually get a premium and if loose can knock it down 30-50 percent.
