curious if anyone can identify this Spirit piece by Will Eisner that is currently up for auction on HA.

In which book was this published?

Will try this route, but maybe someone else any idea or access to books to check ?

heritage references a certain book but I can’t identify it.

I can’t seem to get an answer anywhere I ask, so I will try again here. Maybe I have more luck.

the Eisner piece sold for close to 2k

so I wonder even more where it was used.

The description said "Spirit Book #3" and HA said it's from the 1970's.  Were you able to determine if there ever was a Spirit Book 3 in the 70's ??

I only have the Spirit archives which include the early stuff, and then I have the kitchen sink books, or at least some, but they are 80s.

So I am lost.

Main reason for me to figure this out is that I have a similar piece, which is dated 1992.

And as of now I am lost with my own piece as well.
