So did you just copy and past the url from the pic in the registry, and just add the quote and percentage or all the other added stuff?

I tried to use you link and copy and past, then

replaced my url or copy and pasted the pic from my registry into the "" quotes, since mine is a different htttp

It didn't work, but I'm wondering if I'm on the right track lol

You are on the right track. Find the picture, from your registry,  you wish to use. Right click on it and select "Copy link address".  In the example code I supplied, remove everything between the first 2 quotes and paste the copied link address.

YAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!

IT WORKED!! So now that I have it done in one of my registry sets, I have that code saved as well, and can add others later ^^

Much Thanks!!

You do not have to use an outside hosting service. I used the Registry Set picture. Take a look at my All Select Registry set to see how it looks. Here is the code for the All Select #2 picture.

This seems like a good idea so you are not relying on an outside host.

Have you used any images other than those already in your set though?

I wonder, for example, if you could use your CGC forum attachments?

Looks like it works fine. I started to answer here, inserted this picture into the post,

sub24_CGC_Front.thumb.jpg.4c13e56830da16bad285372269ec384f.jpg

right-clicked the image, selected "copy image address", and then pasted it into my previous code within my Timely Set Description.

I already thanked Adamantium and Iconic1s in another thread, but everyone on this one (especially those two) pointed me in the directions I needed to finally tackle this!

I jumped on working to edit one of my custom sets that I'd love to have them recognize.  SUPER addictive, and I had to dust off some VERY old coding knowledge to put together what I have so far.  I'm sure I'll tweak it a million times, and that my code is over complicated, but it isn't bad for a first attempt at "making them look pretty!"

Only going to have time to work on the one Custom Set heading into the final week... I'll need to tackle the MCU one for next year (while adding to this one still)!

Please humor me and take a look at My Custom Set that I hope they also notice, and truly... thanks again!

Thank you!  I’m sure it’s clunkier than some others (haven’t thought about html code in forever), and I started building it a week ago… but truly, you were a major help!!!

Hello, been putting a little effort into my custom set if anyone cares to check it out.  Thanks!

Thanks for this, as I had been visiting your registry recently and didn't think to look at custom sets.

I saw the already winning sets, but had seen you post others and I wondered where all the "tonage-'ton-age" was, to say the ton of books it would take to keep up with that era or series is impressive.

I of course get a lot of love from looking at the statue pics as I know they're yours and not pics from the internet.

If I thought my sets were "hard" to keep running descriptions of double books without essentially saying "the same" thing. :insane:

I can only imagine! Well done!

Thank you!  There was a point when I was seriously thinking about deleting my competitive set so I made the custom set… then it just started growing into its own bigger thing.

Right now I’ve been working on tracking down all the later prints of the DoS TPB, which has been a lot of fun.

Indeed to traverse the comic universe!

I still find it consuming that it is a lot of knowledge. I really don't see most of them (dos) in the wild, although I don't look for them. It has to be said it is the diligence that is of note with which going through every copy to see if it is one you still need or a different issue due to some alteration! "I could have just said a "variant!" Lol

I find time in my registry and etc a benefit because I'm more familiar, or I should "stay familiar" with what has been acquired and by what avenues or means. It helps the hunt in the future, without mixup.

Yours I would think embellished on that until you get it all down.

That cape you made for the Doomsday statue is awesome!

...and I'm still loving that spinner rack!!

Thank you!  I appreciate you taking a look at it!  The cape was a lot of fun to make… the one that came with the statue was poly stone and it arrived broken, which motivated me.

Last I checked Spinner Rack wasn’t taking orders so I think I got lucky with that.  Would still love to have a vintage rack someday but I imagine (unless I get lucky) it’ll be outside my budget.

I'd like to mention that this is a great thread and everyone's efforts here are terrific. The Registry community is such a valuable resource to learn things like this.

Thanks for checking in on us here!  I agree... it's been a lot of fun learning from other collectors (who are also passionate about their collections) ways to better present your sets/books.
