Losing your comic collection is tough. I hope he can recover the books.

I had a friend once who cheated on his wife. When his wife found out she destroyed his entire comic collection...including Hulk 181 & GS X-Men #1. She definitely got back at him.

She probably cheated her self when the divorce was finalized...

I am the guy whose comic collection was stolen in Vista, CA.

Thanks for the support and sympathy from my fellow collectors.  It is appreciated.

For those wondering why I put the comics into storage in the first place, it's because I was going abroad, and now I am staying longer than originally planned.  I have been in London since the beginning of the pandemic, and that's the reason I wasn't able to check in on the comics for awhile.

As Bob mentioned, the list he gave is just the more notable key issues.  The entire collection that was stolen was about 6,000+ books.  They were in about 15 long boxes plus several smaller boxes, and they pretty much filled the storage unit.  Here is a more extensive list of the more notable series, and I'm uploading JPGs of the full list:

None of these books were in CGC slabs (they were all in mylar bags), but some of them had been graded previously, and those had the CGC slip inside the mylar bag behind the backing board.  I wish I had a list of which books had CGC slips, but unfortunately, I don't.  However, the books were all in very nice condition, mostly at least 8.5 with a couple exceptions.   (Justice League #1 was in 8.2 condition, and Adventure #247 was in 7.5 condition, but I don't think I had anything lower than that, and the raw books were all of comparably high quality.)  Individually, these books might not stand out, but I'm hoping that anyone seeing a bulk of these books turning up in condition that high might take note, so I'm circulating this list.
Thanks for your support!

so sorry to hear that.  If you have photos of the bigger keys, that may help too.

Jamie Graham is now in Murrietta.  He's the owner of the previous Ryan's Comics.  I would also approach SoCal comics in San Diego - they buy big collections so maybe they have been offered something like this recently.  In Orange county there is Comics Toons and Toys in Tustin and Torpedo in the city of Orange.  In Burbank you will find House of Mystery - those are my main places to buy - I'm sure there's other smaller joints around.

Sorry to hear about this, i hope you will get your collection back.  I'll keep my eyes out for your books. Might also be a good idea to contact CGC themselves about this in case they  received or will receive a list of books that fits your stolen collection.  Pictures would definitely help with the bigger keys.

The theft occurred between Sept 1, 2020 (the last time anyone saw the books) and March 28, 2021 (the day the theft was discovered).
