OKAY! That Something Is Killing The Children auction was a huge success. Those books are so popular right now. But THIS!  This is the promised BIG lot for the MyComicShop APRIL PRIME AUCTION.

Yep, there are 44 comics on offer this week. And remember, the Prime Auction ends across four days now: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, broken up by time period.  Monday night is Golden Age books; Tuesday night the Silver and Bronze Age books end.  Copper and Modern A-L end Wednesday night; and Copper and Moderns M-Z end Thursday night.

Of these 44 a lot have not even started yet, since the auction just began last night. But some have, amazingly, already leaped ahead! As a reminder, the Prime Auction now ends across FOUR days next week: Monday (Golden Age), Tuesday (Silver & Bronze), Wednesday (Everything else, A-L) and Thursday (Everything else, M-Z). 

Of these 44 the leaderboard hasn't changed much, but it has changed a little.  Besides the big ones mentioned before, we also have Black #1 9.8, currently at $155; and Hell Arisen #3 9.8, currently at $192.  Black of course has recently been optioned for a TV series, and Hell Arisen is the first full appearance of Punchline.  These two join Four Color #386 5.5, the first Uncle Scrooge comic, now up to $190; Strange Academy #1 Peach Momoko variant 9.8 currently at $206; and the beautiful Fantastic Four #73 9.2 at $115.00.

TUESDAY Update ... only two Silver Age comics and one Bronze Age in this auction, and bidding ends TONIGHT.

We have two beautiful 9.2 grade White pages Fantastic Four comics from the late sixties. Both with cover and art by the late, great Jack Kirby. The first is FF #73, guest staring Thor, Daredevil, and Spider-Man in a wild story. The second is FF #86, also with White pages 9.2, where Victor Von Doom attacks with his robot army.

There is also one Bronze Age book, a wonderful copy of Detective Comics #439 in 8.5. This has a cover by Neal Adams and the critically acclaimed story, "Night of the Stalker!"

PRIME AUCTION, Wednesday update.

The 1980's through Modern era is such a large group, it's spread across two nights. Tonight is A-L and tomorrow is M-Z.

Of the 40 left, then, we have 16 ending tonight, starting at 8:28 pm EST.

A lot of great books in this lot and a few gems as well. The first Strange Academy 9.8, with a fantastic Peach Momoko cover. The first issue of Black in 9.8 ... a series that has been picked up for a feature-length film by Warner Brothers. And the first full appearance of Punchline, in Hell Arisen #3 9.8.

But there are some bargains as well! Venom #9 9.8 with a Bill Sienkiewicz cover is just $21 currently. The beautiful Vampirella #12 cover is at $27. Batman Last Knight on Earth rare 3rd print green cover is sitting at only $24, and that one ends tonight. And the beautiful Ryan Brown cover for DCeased #5 9.8 featuring Wonder Woman is only $37 currently.

Not to mention, how on Earth is the amazing Legion of Super-Heroes #7 1:25 Sook cover only bid up to $27? Now THAT is a steal at twice the price.

THE FINAL 24 END TONIGHT!

Tonight (Thursday) is the final night of the MyComicShop auction - Moderns, M-Z. And there are just 24 left from this lot (all 9.8). We have some fantastic covers and books, and still plenty of bargains to be had.

The first issue (Peach Momoko variant) of Strange Academy is bid up to $241, neck-and-neck with the first full appearance of Punchline in Hell Arisen #3, sitting at $253. But the rest are just $100 or below currently, with many sitting at less than $50.

The beautiful Peach Momoko cover for Vampirella #12 is just $27. That, even though a 9.6 of this same issue sold for $52.00 in December. Wynd #1 and #2 are just $38 and $21, respectively. Silver Surfer Black #1 9.8 sold for $170.00 in January; bidding for this one sits at $62. And the beautiful Powers of X #1 Comic Mint variant by Gerald Parel is only $56.
