Would anyone recommend getting Avengers 57 signed by Paul? I recently got a 5.5 for $500, and can't decide whether the $285 sig is going to be worth it. Moreover, is his signature even desirable for that key? I can't find any selling history of his signature on ebay beyond posters (shrug)

Personally I was debating back and forth whether to send my Cap 100 in for the Chris Evans signing a bit ago and finally decided against it. Yes, he was the Captain America in the MCU but there may/probably be reboots, etc. in the future and I decided to keep my comics signed by comic creators. Also had bigger issues justifying $300+ for a signature

That's just me.

That is my exact concern. $300 for a signature, that may only be valued by a select fan group. Coming out to over $800 total cost, the odds of me making a sizeable profit seem very slim...

I am at a similar crossroads with the Tynion signing. I have two "Something is Killing The Children" one per store and lcsd variants that will only have significant value if graded 9.8.  with the $90 sig&pressing for each book, I heavily debate this gamble.

Yes you think he’d sign in? Or yes you think he’s too far removed?

Exactly.

just kidding.

He'll most likely sign it, especially since you already paid him to. I haven't heard of anyone's book & money being returned because a creator refused to sign. Todd McF did have a list of books he wouldn't sign, but that list was posted in advance along with his signing announcement. So if you don't see a "Will not sign" list of books, you'll be ok.

This is true, and similarly other artists said only what they've worked on, but I don't think an "editor" would feel that way. That said may be a little far removed to want the signing if I'm following the conversation lol

I didn't scroll up
