Which book do you recommend Art of Steve Ditko or World of Steve Ditko?

I would prefer to see his art works and illustrations.

The World of Ditko has tons of illustrations from all across his career with pretty thorough and scholarly discussion of each area of work and influence.

The Art of Ditko reprints many of his best know works from before his time at Marvel.

So if you want to read a bunch of great stories, go with the Art of..., if you want to learn a ton about the man and his work try the World of...

I think I got a copy from thirdgreenham for about this price. I ended up giving that copy away to Fazybones.

Later, I saw several copies sell here for around $200 a piece.

They were Pedrin File copies.... Andy had his slabbed and they came back 9.8's ... I've still got mine :cloud9: but it's so nice I'm scared to touch it. It might cause me to fold inward upon myself. GOD BLESS...

The Compleat Sally Forth - Wally Wood

Fantagraphics 1998 - First print soft cover - $100

Apparently these are a little bit scarce. Small bend on lower right of front cover. I didn't include a back cover scan because there is quite a bit of nudity.
