Isn't this book actually America Chavez's First Cover Appearance? Will anyone even care if it is? 0

If you look carefully, you will see America Chavez on the Granov cover of Marvel Now! Point One #1 (2012), making it her first cover appearance. 

 

Granted, it is a horrible first cover appearance, but it doesn't change the fact that it is her first cover appearance. Now for the question, does it make a difference since she has a much better cover appearance in Young Avengers vol 2 #1 that stands as the market's view of her first appearance?

yup. it's 1st cover app and sets the story up for the new young avengers line up. so a relevant book for sure. but it's debatable if the YA vol 2 1 is a better cover imo... her first good cover might be the hans variant to #2 ... bubble gum cover as well.
