Key notes for Amazing Spider-Man 299 0

Why don’t the key notes for Amazing Spider-man 299 state “First appearance of Venom in cameo on last page” the way it states “First appearance of Wolverine in cameo on last page” for Hulk 180. The key notes for ASM 299 just state “Venom Cameo”.

Because that would be incorrect, even putting aside the questionable (at best) "cameo" usage. Wolverine does not appear on the second-last page of 180, nor does he appear in 179 or in any earlier issues of Hulk's other titles.

Not that having incorrect notes has ever bothered CGC much, unfortunately. Which means it doesn't even matter anyway.

If you wonder why CGC doesn't use “First appearance of Venom in cameo on last page” it does, since it would have to at least be “First appearance of Venom in cameo on last two pages” to not be obviously wrong (and that's focusing only on 299, ignoring his earlier appearances).
