I heard there were at least 100 MF 73s in those grades ...

LOL we MF 73 fans sleep easy at night.  We know there's no more out there.  Superman, Batman...broadcasted all over the cover is what got saved.

I’m liking the code on the covers! (thumbsu

Yes, but are they still seeing these as writing defects like how they used to and hence take the grade way way down accordingly.  :censored:  :screwy:

From looking at the census, it would appear that these books have not yet been graded, so I certainly hope they view these markings as pedigree codes, as opposed to writing defects which are then unfairly hammered in the determination of the final grade.  :luhv:   :takeit:

Wow, the colors on these books here look like they just came off the printing press and dripping wet as they are all just so stunningly bright.  :luhv:

The books are also so flat which makes me wonder if they were also stored in the Mile High City right under Edgar's heavy cache of MH books.    :takeit:

They look like newstand or distributor marks to me, not "codes" or writing by the original owner.  If so, they don't help identify the pedigree, but I'm with you on not hammering the grade.
