Which is more important to you, white pages color/quality or perfectly centered cover? 3 3

Let say same two books, very rare, major-key book, same grade, same price...and everything else is equal between the two books, 

1. First book with white pages but with off-centered cover, thick white line runs along the spine

2. Second book, off-white to white pages but with perfectly centered cover

 

Which would you choose?

Depending on the grade, other flaws would need to be considered to determine overall eye appeal.

Centered all day for me. 

For SA keys for me it is Centering >PQ>Marvel Chipping. I will drop down a level on PQ to not have MC.

I can live with corners missing kids cutting little parts out more than MC, personally.

it's extremely rare for a major key book, especially SA keys with white pages and perfectly centered cover

I collect bronze, so usually one will come along....

With this scenario, centering is an easy choice for me. The presentation and eye appeal are key. Plus, most of my books are SA, so OW/W is a bonus, but centered is preferred.

major SA keys are extremely rare and expensive, waiting can be painfully long

exactly, presentation is very important, off-centered cover will absolutely trigger my OCD

I would choose that even if the pages were OW vs. W.

Unless the book is horribly off-centered, I would go with white pages.

Off centered wraps don’t bother me much if the white margin is the same width up and down the cover. If it looks like a bell bottom pant leg, then no.
