As spoilers, these are not any of the hot SW books I see moving here on the boards. These are sets of Francavilla variants. His latest ones, in current release, are moving briskly on eBay, but I doubt that has affected these earlier sets.

Here are a few random comics before I head out for my Pfizer Morning Special.

Venomverse #2, VF/NM, $20

 SOLD!

So I do collect Francavilla covers, but I don't collect any and all of them. I think this Venomverse Francavilla variant is fantastic. It has Francavilla's penchant for reds, blacks, and shadows. It's done in the classic movie poster style he so often utilizes. But I'm just not a Venom guy. These sell for a decent dollar on ebay, but this one has a corner bend, noted in the grade and reflected in the price. It doesn't break color, so you might try a press it if you're the pressin' type.

Star Wars Adventures: Return to Vader's Castles, lot of Francavilla variants, issues 1-5, 9.2, $14

 SOLD!

Francavilla has done variants for several of these IDW Star Wars titles now. These are a bit more cartoony than his usual style, which reflect the interiors. I had regular copies of the non-variants and read them with my kid.

Totally Awesome Hulk #1, 9.2, Hip Hop variant. $18

 SOLD!

If you look at comics as an expression of youth and pop culture, you can understand why I find this cover so appealing. There's a vitality and confidence in these figures that really comes through. No, I don't know what hip hop album cover is being homaged. These go for $30 and up on the Bay so here's a chance to score one at a good deal.
