Gratz. I had been wanting to get that set but gonna wait for some time before I do. I do have 8 in 9.8 direct and newsie so that’s good i guess.

Yeah, that's what I figure. I'm selling them now and will buy back once the market is flooded with them.

Bought for $60-70 2 years ago.  Sold it for $400 a few days ago. I have a #1 and #8 up for sale that end in under an hour...

Go ahead and share your crazy sales!!!

While $400 seems like a lot given what else you can get for $400 right now, $60-70 seemed lowish. It is a 37 year old book, I'm guessing 9.8s are getting harder and harder.Spidey's face is really poorly drawn.

i wonder what happened April 22, but yeah, $60 is the low end of the sales that year. $100 seemed more sensible.

Right after Stan passed, I posted my Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends #1 SS Stan & JR Sr.  Only an 8.5, so I thought maaaybee  it would sell for $200. I will admit I had forgotten Stan did the vo intro to each episode of the related cartoon.

Then I had my Return of Wolverine KRS Variant triple signed that went far over what I expected. Although it seems it was the only 3x Sig book, so maybe that's why.

prices are crazy these days but there is a caveat ...

say you sold a book on Ebay last year worth 1000 dollars and now it has doubled in price, but this year everyone is getting a IRS 1099 form so that $2000 you would have made this year minus the 28% capitol gains is now down to $1440 minus the headache of another tax form(s)
