There an area (maybe an inch and a half) that is still attached, which is helpful to know that it's the proper back cover. The interior of the book is super solid with cream to off white pages at the edges, better as it goes inward. This presents MUCH better than a 1.5. A 1.0 with lt to ow pages sold over 2 years ago on 3/19 for $322. Grab this one cheaper for $300.

Detective #74 2.5 w pages. This copy has some great characteristics seldom seen in this grade range .... like very strong cover colors and killer page quality! There look to be 3 small pieces of tape at the staple area, one outside cover, one inside cover and one on first wrap to reattach the cover. This copy also has a spine roll (see pic) as well as a piece out of lower cover spine. Minor stains on some pages and back cover. The centerfold is also loose. $275 SOLD

Detective #84 Qualified 5.0 ow/w pages. The qualified grade is due to someone neatly cutting a coupon out of the last page which does affect the end of the Boy Commandos story (the final page in the book is an ad page). Other flaws are an inch and a half tear at the right front cover edge mid way up (visible in pic) and small staple tears on back cover. Also, an odd page fold at the spine area near the centerfold (can be seen in Slam Bradley pic). Flat clean copy with one of the better later covers. $335

Green Mask #10 4.0 ow pages. This copy has a loose centerfold and 2 staples were added from the folio after the centerfold to the back of the book inside top and bottom. Could probably be easily removed. $225

Wonder Comics #11 Grade: 3.0 off white pages. Cover loose from interior due to rusty staples. Book is VERY solid in hand and looks & feels MUCH nicer than the grade. $395

Black Terror #23 Grade: 3.5 off white pages. Xela (Schomburg for those who don't know) cover with the Black Terror saving the blonde beauty from the weapon toting thugs. Also, perhaps unknown to many, this issues interior has some GREAT Jerry Robinson & Mort Meskin art (I included a pair of examples in the pics area). Top staple loose at front cover edge but attached at the back. A small tear at the top and bottom of the spine area. Some writing on the cover makes us all wish they would've found some scratch paper. A lot of cool for not a lot of loot. $125 SOLD

Mystery Comics #2 Grade 2.0 Cream to off white pages. Top staple loose at the front cover edge, still attached at the back. Solid book for the grade and a GREAT Schomburg cover for not a lot of money. $295  SOLD
