Got this in the mail today! Silver Surfer: Black #5, Page 1 by Tradd Moore. Might be my favorite piece from the whole run. Can’t believe I own it.

Thought you only collected Cosmic Ghost Rider 🤔.

Congrats!

I thnk that one transcends the label of comic art and edges into fine art territory. Congratulations.

I think it's fine art that edges into comics.

Yes, I thought that was the best page of the bunch.  I couldn't imagine being a colorist and have a fellow collaborator hand me something like that.

This was a huge reason why this was my top piece to acquire from the series. It's just straight up art. There's no nostalgia or emotion buffeting its quality or importance. I could write an entire essay on how it's the culmination of everything from Jack Kirby to M.C. Escher to Cubism and Cubo-Futurism. I think Tradd's work on SSB makes a real statement for comic art's place in the fine art market and I think this specific piece makes that case better than any other.

Just got my GLORY pages of digital color by Scott Rockwell, and the separations by Extreme Color, for GLORY #6.

The Rob Liefield title was drawn for this issue by Mike Deodato, and finishes by Mota and Ribeiro.

Story pages are 2, 7, and 11.

Nice additions to my collection!

From across the pond through ebay, no issues.

Thanks for checking them out!

Best, David S. Albright
