Alex Ross' character studies for Superman Red Son. A couple of bargain priced (for him) pieces from the SDCC.

Artists seem to draw on anything. In this case, his drawings appear to be on used fax papers. His name, phone number and fax number are on the back of both sheets.

Its funny as I have yet to have purchased a single piece of OA in the States yet. Everything has been done through emails and board talks. Big thanks to Michael at MGA, and Fan-Fare especially with this one. Tom there has been really amazing with me and getting everything...Although my wife and her actual photographs when received could use a little retraining...

I've received a few pieces in the last week or two. I took advantage of Khoi Pham's sale a little while ago and picked up 2 really nice splashes from the Chaos War series.

Athena vs Hercules:

Athena with a sweet Chaotic background:

I set up a Tony Daniel Hela commission before the Big Wow ComicFest a little while back. I've posted it before, but I just got it in the mail this week. I wasn't attending the show, and the person who was going to pick it up for me was unable to. Tony offered to mail it out. Absolutely love this one:

I also won a page from Tony Daniel's The Tenth comic from comicconnect. It arrived a couple weeks ago. Loved that series, and I am always on the lookout for nice pages featuring the female monsters.

And finally, I was able to knock off an item from my CAF Want List for the first time (well, for a specific page, not a general item, that is). A splash of Rose Wilson/Ravager from Teen Titans by Eddy Barrows and Jimmy Palmiotti. Found this on eBay with just 40 minutes left in the auction and jumped on it.

Thanks for looking!

Just got art in the mail from forum member crassus and Ruben of comicbookartgallery and I know I posted these a few pages back when I first was purchasing them but they are gorgeous in person and I wanted to show them again.

My first inked cover. The Mighty Thor Vol 2 #64 by Ben and Ray Lai. This is a piece I had been actively hunting for, and it turned up from me posting that I was looking for Loki art. Thanks to forum member crassus for letting me know who had it and that it was available!

And also thanks to crassus I got my fourth page from the Loki 2004 series by Esad Ribic. Gorgeous watercolors. I might be biased but no one compares to Ribic in watercolors to me.
