Two new Mouse Guard pages for me.

 

First, a page from Winter 1152, with the full main cast in both panels! The mice are facing the snow during their journey.

Second, a page from Legends of the Guard Vol 3.

Some of you (alxjhnsn, I'm looking at you ;) ) may remember the Mouse Astronomer commission David created for me a few years ago (here: http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1155373 ). Well, it seems David liked enough the character he created for me, because he later decided to include him as a character in the 3rd Volume of Legends of the Guard!

The least I could say is that I was extremely surprised to recognize this little fellow in the pages of the book!

Of course, I couldn't resist the temptation of getting a page with "my" mouse appearing in-story, so here it is:

New in today . . .

A nice page 1 (of a two-page episode) from a November 1964 installment of THE STEEL CLAW from the UK anthology comic-book, 'The Valiant'.  Artwork is by Jesus Blasco.

The thought of having my sons growing up without Spider-Man or Captain America (Cap) on the wall was horrifying, luckily I just found a nice modern cover by Jorge Molina and even my 5-year-old son Theodor could easily identify both super heroes :smile:
