cover colors and white backround on 138 look a little dull to me in scan

colors in 161 look sharper

 

do the colors on 138 look better in hand?

The 138 looks fine in hand...that's the way this issue is..Thor is supposed to appear "ghosted"...

 

It just looks odd when scanned....

could easily be a 7.5 then ...so hard to say without book in hand!

What makes the 161 lower grade than the other? To me it looked better....... so what am I not seeing?

 

After another look, is it that the back cover looks dirtier? I thought that I saw a line across the cover, but it keeps moving. So that might be my monitor.

WOW I'm pratically sitting on top of my monitor,and I can barely see that crease. Are you using a high resolution??? Seriously, it took me several moment after you pointed it out to see that darned thing.
