Wow. That Famous Funnies cover is insane...

 

Stephen's now had the logo/caption elements incorporated onto his own FAMOUS FUNNIES cover (courtesy of Roger Hill), which can be seen in his CAF Galleries. Looks spectacular - check it out!

 

I saw that. It looks amazing.

 

I know alot of people prefer the Canaveral pieces, but I really think that Frazetta's Famous Funnies covers are the pinnacle of his pencil work. Absolutely beautiful stuff.

The Frazetta stuff will likely go quite high. Imagine the Famous Funnies piece will sell from 85-125K

Frankenstein painting $100-125K

Kavan's painting $100-125K

 

Thanks. I heard Spider Man (?) sold over the weekend for $210,000.00, but that is one of his better known pieces.

 

Kavan's pinting is pretty sweet. Also love the Frazetta name on the tombstone in Frankenstein.
