It also turns out I may be headed out to Ohio. Seems my beloved Tarheels were given a #3 seed in the NCAA tournament and head out to Dayton this coming weekend. They were supposed to be a #2 seed and play out of Greensboro.

damn silvers...you should have said to your mother that you would do the groceries shop + dinner + clean the house for the next full year...like that you could have got some negotiation space/argument!

 

nice try on asking for the individual comics...but one thing is to lose some $$$, another is to burn $$$

 

it should be interesting to sell this coll. individually with time in the long therm...it could finance the buying of some nice perles for B's collection!!!

 

one thing is good for spidey, either they be from today, yesterday or from 30 years ago, there will be always someone looking for it!!!

You don't get it do you? The reason Jim is selling them so cheap is because he doesn't have the time to sell them individually. Now if he gave you the ones above at $1.06 each then he would be left with the moderns and stuff which is much harder to shift. The likes of Web, Spectacular, etc. Therefore he sells them all in bulk and dangles the carrot of the Silver Age books and keys like 121, 122, 129, 238, etc.
