You can’t go wrong with a rotting flesh cover

It is a tough book to find and especially with the black cover to find in decent grade.  I would love to find one - even low grade.  Great books all, Bats.:applause:

I was (am) so enamored with Captain Comet - ERB got me interested in space heroes as I avidly consumed almost all of his books but the likes of John Carter, Carson of Venus, the Pellucidar books, Caspak, etc. and believe it or not, Tarzan has been my least favorite of his works.  So here I believe are the Strange Adventures that have all of the Captain Comet covers.  I think they are all there.  A few peds in the mix, one Mile High and a River City.

The first Captain Comet cover on Strange Adventures 9 is probably my favorite DC sci-fi cover, and that's saying something, as there are so many deep atomic age runs with great covers. It's not overly cluttered with fantastic coloring and just beckons the reader inward... :cloud9:

Has anyone ever tried to re-create some of the news stand photos that show GA comics?  You would need a heck of a collection but it would be really cool to see what all comics were on the stand July of 1972 or any other random month.  Some of the photos on here already come close without even trying.  Just top notch collections!

I have a spinner rack and one of the free standing racks, I mix it up but usually keep December 73 books on one or the other, my birth year.

My humble pick-ups from a local comic show this weekend:

Everything PCH or GGA is of course stratospheric in price, so it's back to westerns and funny books for me!  hm

That is a batch of fun stuff!
