JC, thanks for putting this book up for all to see. I have a Conan # 1 that suffers from the same exact condition, structurally the book is in NM condition but the cover looks like it spent a few hours in a tanning bed. I have always wondered how bad CGC would down grade a book with that kind of defect....now I know.

Yea, definitely an interesting grading example!

 

What's the page whiteness on this book? From what I've read about storage, I don't think sunlight hitting the exterior would make the interior go offwhite/cream/tan/brittle any faster than high temperature and humidity, although it might do something different to the pages.
