Lou Fine's first cover. And first Yarko. And a hypnotized gorilla. How could I not? 

Needless to say, I'm VERY PLEASED with the book.

It shows well for a 2.0 (imho). And who am I kidding, I'd never have been a contender for the Berk copy, appearing at your local neighborhood auction site soon...

You should be and as you say, shows extremely well for only a CGC 2.0 graded copy of this rare and hard to find early Fox book. 

All of these relatively lower graded GA books slabbed during the summer and fall of 2016 seems to present much better than their assigned grade on a pretty consistent basis from what I am seeing.

So the main issue is the spine split, all but 1 inch of the spine. You can pretty much see this from looking at the book.

Whether this is an automatic downgrade to a 2.0, I dunno... But the rest of the book shimmers!! And gives me the shivers!!

Gorgeous book nonetheless!!

It's great to see these #2's (slabbed and unslabbed) coming out of the woodwork! Clearly there are more copies out there than the CGC census accounts for. Anyone hazard a guess as to how many copies have survived? (Would need to include the TWO!! copies that Johnny545 has.)
