It's a 9.4/9.6 . . . IF we didn't look at the BC at all

 

Unfortunately there is a NCB bend to the ULBC, a couple of 1/8" spine creases, the wear to the LLBC and BEBC, and the possible stain at the LEBC . . .

What a nice looking clean crisp Batman logo on this one. Really eye catching!

I'm not much of a Batman fan, but I'd put this issue in my collection cause the cover's so cool.

 

the corners all look really nice to me and I've seen dirty back covers on 9.4's slabbed but the bottom back edge has me concerned so this gets a 9.0.

The Grading Bastiche says....8.5. That crease on the upper left corner on the back keeps it out of the VF/NM+ range.

The "crease" on the back upper left corner isn't actually a full edge to edge crease, it only extends from one edge, and stops about halfway to the other edege. Also, it's an NCB. Does this keep it in 9.0 range or 8.5. The black smudge stuff on the back are printing flaws.

Yep in my book it does. Don't get me wrong, I am not CGC so you might get a higher grade. But you get a deduct for it. And that is why they call me "The Grading Bastiche"!
