I thought the character could have been used a little more but The Vulture was similar and it had that don't trust old people story line that Steve probably didn't like.

Nice trilogy there. Next year at the one con I go to that usually has cgc attend. I Def plan to send in a few more ASM to be graded. 

On a unrelated note I wanted to ask this for everyone. For anyone reading the current Vol of Peter parker spectacular spiderman. I wanted to see if any one had this issue come up. #309 that came out like 3 weeks back. I noticed my copy in a few pages had bad tears in pages. Took it back to shop I go to and found simular tears in his remaining copies. This this week when he got a reorder in. The few copies he got also had tears in pages though not as bad as last bunch. Did any one come across this problem with there local shops?

ASM 28 is probably my favorite cover.  It's very hard to find high grades of this comic because the black background color was so easy to break. I can see you have nothing to regret about either of your early Molten Man issues!  One day, I hope to upgrade my copy of 28 to at least 7.5  Below are what I have....

There are a few 9.4 copies of ASM #28 available online at incredibly high prices ($20K+) ... not sure if anyone has ever actually bought one at such a price.

Even though I had set out to get #16 through #150 in 9.4, I couldn't justify that kind of price for #28 so instead I jumped at this really nice 9.0.
