I have always loved 31. It has so much going for it. The beginning of one of the best Spidey arcs ever, 1st Gwen , Harry and Professor Warren.

For a long, long time this book has been under appreciated and valued as an ASM key. It has finally shown signs of life the last few years.

My Amazing Spider-Man collection.

I sold off all of my SA books several years ago and used most of the money to pick up Golden Age books. Recently, I decided that I really missed SA books, so I have started picking up a few. I can't afford the high grades anymore, but nice looking mid-grades are just fine for me. Hoping to add more in the future, but here is my entire SA Spider-Man collection so far...

I bought this copy at the 1994 San Diego Comic Con and have enjoyed it ever since. It was this "well read" when I bought it and cost me $90. Oh and I should mention that I'm not interested in "doubling my money!"

Sorry, but I'm really gonna stink up the thread with this painful pic. A bookseller who doesn't deal in comics wound up with this and asked me if I wanted to offer him something for it. I've never gone in for comics in this condition, but -- ASM #3! I find it weirdly compelling.

Sadly, no. Kid who owned it sliced out a "Boys: Making money selling Grit" ad which follows the end of the main story, and clipped a coupon from bottom half of another page, removing last two panels of a short "Human Torch" story.

Sounds like the Ditko Pin up page is present though?
