#98 was really funny to me when I first read it as an adult.  The FF and the Russians had already been to the Moon in #13 so how were they going to explain that to NASA and Neil Armstrong?

What I questioned was the timing. The actual moon landing pre dated this issue by more than half a year. This issue should have appeared a year prior!
 

It was just feel-good fun. I don’t know how they resolved the fictional aspect of the FF reporting their adventures to Marvel to make the comics. 
I’ve chosen not to pull on that thread.

It’s two issues with wrap around covers.  They are the Art Adams variant covers for #1 and #2 of the latest volume of FF.

I thought these variants were cool too.  There is a Moebius variant with a great Thing cover, but it's more money than I'm willing to spend on a modern comic.
