I bought one of these and am delighted with it! It’s everything I hoped it would be!

Just a heads-up, tho; these are used books. Expect some dings, stickers, etc.

cool pop-up book i had never seen before !!

Not Ultra HG, but not bad for kicking around a short box for dozens of years.

First Kirby FF I ever owned! Shrewdly acquired by trading my Howard The Duck #1 in 1976. An eternal favorite!

This one is good enough for me, but should Straw-Man ever upgrade...

Interesting how the sky color slightly different all 3 books. Bro that backing board is too small.  I may be dumb for buying 4 mil open top golden age 4 mil mylars but they do allow me to grasp the backing board and slide the book out without touching the book so that's a plus.  I just didn't want to mess with having 10 different board and bag sizes and I have some EC books so I went with that.  Nice book!

You’re right about the backing, of course, but I suspect the difference in background is mostly how the pics/scans were taken.

My old copy.  I like this late-in-the-run Kirby cover, with the ethereal Skrull:

That is Skrull gas - from a late night, legume-driven dinner at the local diner.

That used to be my theory, but then I reconsidered Ben’s own “brand”, and decided he’d be able to handle anything of that variety.

ok, so i rationalized that since the whiteness of the cover of this book is the key criterion, and have accepted a c/ow book into the s.a. run.   thanks, roy!
