I enthusiastically suggest that you finish out the whole Kirby run! Mid-grade copies of 81 to 102 (plus 108 and annuals) won’t set you back that much.
Just a more natural stopping point.

if any one of you believe this is the first time this particular advice has been given on our boards, you are WRONG.

I thought 112 was a Kirby as well.  No?

Nope. Big John Buscema. Cool comic, tho!

Learn something new everyday.  I could have sworn that was Kirby.   Though now that you mention it, doesn’t look Kirby at all. lol

I’d certainly consider that comic a keeper! Very pretty!

Thanks!

I used to own (way back then) the Sid's Luncheonette copy which was a pretty 8.0 White as well but much sharper (and plump!) than this one.

Since I couldn't get it out of the current owner's hands, I settled for this one ;)

Jack had made the earth-shattering switch to DC nearly a year earlier and was writing and drawing Jimmy Olsen and his Fourth World books by then.  The FF1-102 run is entirely pencilled by Kirby (and co-plotted, too), and FF108 is an unused Kirby story that was initially intended to be ish 103.

FF Annual #4. Over concerns that the original Human Torch creators could ask for $$, they put out this story to clearly show they are two different characters.

Really? That’s disappointing to hear.

Yes, it is disappointing, but in this case it probably didn't matter. Johnny Storm was a 'different' character whether this story came out or not.

Can you remember who the Invincible Man was without looking it up?

Super-Skrull from a volcano. Very emotional end to that story.

This is the only book I need to finish the run.  It simply never comes around in 9.4.
