Mailman brought me a great piece of my childhood today. I bought this book off the stands due to the colorful cover and the strange story of the “Plantman”. 

Always loved characters that controlled the un-controllable. Aquaman-fish, The Penguin-birds, Antman-ants and the list goes on. Plantman had plants do his bidding. This was a favorite book of mine. 

This book went the way of my original childhood collection, the trash...

Saw a copy turn up right here on the boards so I took it. 

As an added bonus, there are backup stories by Matt Fox and Ditko. Home run!

I will read it again, file it away safely and sit tight until Marvel announces a Plantman movie!
