Wow. Didn't know that slang term...

 

Amazingly, Byrne-Steal is in Urban Dictionary... (Although Byrne-Read isn't. You might want to start that entry.)

verb: from comic fandom, to read a comic in the shop without any intention of buying said comic. Originates from comic writer/artist John Byrne, who alleged that doing so was "stealing"

Urban Dictionary is user-generated content. i could make up a ShinKaoSteal, which would be defined as "buying 9.8 slabbed copies of hot Copper Age books from a hoarder at below FMV" and post it...et voila
