In cane someone is interested, I've put up for sale my Matt Baker original art.

Link to eBay listing.

This page was presumably drawn in 1946 but went unpublished until it was found in the Iger studios. It was then published in 1984 in Jerry Iger's Famous Features (1984, Pacific Comics).

Matt Baker pages are rare and NICE Matt Baker pages with gorgeous GGA are even more rare. Usually you get a glimpse of GGA art. This piece is stunning in hand (more than half the page is a splash with a gorgeous, full front and detailed Flamingo drawing) and Flamingo is featured in 3 of the 4 panels.

It is. I've owned it for years.

And I realize the price is aggressive but the only comparables that I could find were pieces that sold on Heritage in the $6000-7000 range years ago.

I figure if Baker comics are fetching 5 figures, owning a one of a kind piece that is irreplaceable is in that ball park as well.

By far the most popular book in the thread. I had several people interested.

He is a very nice seller and has some great esoteric GA books often for auction.  I have won some of his auctions and actually sent him a message on EBay earlier this morning just to to say WOW.
