sending in labels for deslabbed books

4 posts in this topic

i've got a pair of books i've cracked out of their slabs. i understand that in order for them to be removed from the registry, i need to send the label back to CGC.

i'd rather not do that, for my own reasons. would there be an acceptable alternative, that the Census be updated as a result of these books being broken out?

In order for the books to be removed from the Census we must have the labels returned to us. If you submit the label with the book, you will receive a $5 discount on the grading fee to be applied when the submission is received. We don't remove books unless we have the labels so if you prefer to preserve the accuracy of the census you would need to send in your labels.
