How much do these Copper Age commons go for in CGC 9.6?

Nevermind, as I just did an EBay search and they basically sell for NADA, below slabbing costs. foreheadslap.gif

Depends on the issue. A 212 would sell for 50 bucks easy.

That's why I stated COMMONS (non-key), like most of the books being posted here - I have tons in HG, and you got me all excited about a possible CGC sub. 893naughty-thumb.gif

Most of the CA X books are "cheap" in 9.6

I really do need to one day head over to a convention in the states...any suggestions?
New York comic con in Febuary

You might also want to try Wondercon or San Diego Comic-con since they're on the west coast and relatively closer to you.

But the amazing thing is that i've been to the states 5 times in the last 6 years and never been to a large one...add that to one of my traveling grails i guess.

Sure, but I didn't realize that meant "under slabbing fees" cheap.

In some cases, yes but not often as I have found. Most CA (non-key) books of this grade I have gotten for between $20-$30. That is cheap but more than the $15 slabbing fee (not including the discount). A lot of sellers I see either start their auctions at like $24.99 or some such price or those that start at .99 with no reserve often end up at between $20-30. That has been my experience.

San Diego comicon is your best bet, Australia to L.A. direct.

Cool thanks..i think i may make the trip up north sometime next year...by boat so i can save the money from the airfare for more x-men (do you think we all need an x-men anon meeting?)

Danny and Casey...I must thank you both for getting my interest back into looking at upgrading and finalising my x-men run. I've been a bit tardy with the back issues for the past year and half, only collecting the current released issues as they came out.

so 2 thumbsup2.gif for the both of you 893applaud-thumb.gif
