Its a very nice little collection there! Especially since they just ended up in your collections somehow :insane: I wish some of these would have just ended up in my collection :roflmao:Thanks for sharing, always love seeing a Grodd cover! And of course 123! Very respectable copy of the annual and I'm especially jealous of that 117 and Superman 199!

Thanks.  I lied a little...I know where they came from, but they weren't sought out.  Most were in a small collection I bought in the 70s (about 300 comics for $25 - those were the good old days), and a few were pick ups from others at sometime.  I think I bought the supes 199 off the stands (it looks brand new, so I imagine that was how I got it), and the Flash 123 was 25cents from an OO I was buying ECs from.  I have a few others if you want to see them...

#4 Flash #146  Coincidentally next in sequence to my 5th favorite Flash. This book was an LCS acquisition of mine not long after I started collecting. Again there is the great cover by Infantino with the trademark buildings diminishing in the background. Most startling is the fact that the Mirror Master seems to be outrunning the Flash, no doubt thinking that the Flash will be tempted to grab some cash, thus slowing down his pursuit. Then again just how does one switch legs with another person. hm

I have four issues in my tiny Flash collection and it’s quite a coincidence that 145 and 146 are two of them.

#3 Flash 155

The cover of Flash 155 pretty much speaks for itself. It just might be the one S.A. Flash cover with all of the Flash's villains. The purple cover is a plus, and the teaser can you guess who the 7th villain is?

Well with this group of six foes if you added a 7th that would certainly put Flash in a 'hairy' situation? :roflmao:Once again this famous villain eluded yet another cover. One which conventional thinking would normally have placed him there. He had several of these near misses and was denied. :pullhair:

I Love 125!!! 125 and 131 are probably my top 2 favorite Flash covers right now and have been for years!

I wish my 125 was in nicer shape.  AND, thanks to this thread I just spent some real money on a Flash comic.  I ordered a #131 from my favorite dealer after seeing it here.

Flash #125 & Flash 131 a tie for 2nd Place

#125  From the primeval past in a volcano ridden scene replete with a brontosaurus to a "missile command"  like future, this cover really stand out.

# 131 Features a guest app by Green Lantern as he and the Flash do battle against a flying saucer.

Pink cover 106 also one of my favourites

Here is my The Flash UK Thorpe & Porter set and my low grade US copies (no # 105 unfortunately)

Do you know when these were published ? At 1/- I am guessing it must have been very close to 1959. The artwork is slightly wider than the US version. Very unusual to see this cover published.
